       PATRICK TAYLOR ~  Winemaker 

Patrick came to Cana's Feast Winery in 2004, working first under the tutelage of former owner/founder Gino Cuneo. Taking the reins in 2007, he has since been responsible for vineyard assessment and collaboration, harvest decisions (shared with Mother Nature), and directing the style and outcome for the wines.  

Patrick holds a Master of Science in Horticulture with research in Viticulture and Oenology, and a Magna cum Laude Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Bioresource Research from Oregon State University. He served briefly as Assistant Winemaker at Torii Mor, worked a number of harvests for local producers Andrew Rich and Benton Lane, as well as with Nepenthe Winery in Adelaide Hills, Australia. 

Patrick enjoys collaborating with local and international winemakers. Among other recent projects, Taylor has bent his energy toward developing his version of a rare style of craft vermouth known as Chinato.
